Fundraising and Strategic Outlook
The Company has raised more than $100 million in private equity and debt funding since its inception.  VIRxSYS also has received numerous grants from Federal and state governments which have assisted the Company in advancing its research and development.
 

VIRxSYS Corporation is a privately-held biotechnology company with proprietary platform technologies with which it intends to develop therapies for serious human diseases. The Company’s platform technologies include:  (i) RNA reprogramming and repair of gene expression (“SMaRT™ RNA”), and (ii) lentiviral vectors (“LV”) as a delivery vehicle for genetic payloads against certain diseases and for vaccine therapies. The Company is currently using these platform technologies to design and develop therapies which are in various stages of development from pre-clinical through Phase II clinical trials.
