Nikolay Korokhov, PhD
Nikolay Korokhov is the Director of Lentiviral Vector Core Facility in the Research and Development Department at VIRxSYS. Dr. Korokhov has over 20 years of experience in the field of molecular biology. He conducted his graduate study at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Russia, working on the development of models for studying DNA methylation and chromatin remodeling. After receiving his PhD in Biotechnology from the BIFIP Russian Federation, he did his post doctoral work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, AL, followed by work for the biotechnology company VectorLogics, with a major focus on developing targeted and shielded adenovirus-based gene therapy vectors.
